About the role

Banking team at OpenFX builds the cross‑border payment infrastructure and user‑facing banking experience. The Senior Frontend Engineer leads the technical direction of the banking frontend, designing the SDK, component library, and micro‑frontend architecture while mentoring engineers and collaborating with product and design. Bengaluru, on‑site.

What you’ll do

• Own frontend technical direction for banking onboarding and product surfaces
• Design and build a Banking frontend SDK with hooks and UI components
• Shape shared component library and micro‑frontend approach
• Define coding and component standards across the platform
• Own frontend observability and test‑automation bar
• Mentor frontend engineers and set hiring standards
• Partner with product and design to create coherent experiences

What you’ll bring

• Significant senior or staff‑level frontend experience
• Deep expertise in frontend architecture, component and design systems
• Strong grasp of performance, accessibility, and correctness
• Fluent in modern TypeScript and React stack
• Excellent technical communication and cross‑team leadership

Nice to have

• Experience designing and shipping SDKs or libraries
• Experience with micro‑frontends or Module Federation
• Experience with contract‑driven frontend development against BFF
• Ownership of a design system or component library
• Experience building frontend observability and test automation
