About the role
Monipoint Quality Assurance team ensures the reliability of Africa’s leading financial platform. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer designs test strategies, creates automated and manual test cases, and tracks quality metrics to guarantee smooth product launches. Remote work from Bangalore, India, with full-time employment.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements
- Develop comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans
- Author functional and integration test cases and coordinate reviews
- Execute test cases, publish reports, and communicate results
- Track quality metrics such as defect density and test coverage
- Design and implement robust test automation frameworks
- Create mocks and stubs for isolated component testing
- Act as primary QA liaison to ensure requirements are testable
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years experience in Quality Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong programming skills in Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript
- Experience testing APIs, microservices, mobile and web applications
- Proficiency with SQL, NoSQL, and pub‑sub technologies
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness)
- Familiarity with Jira, Postman, Playwright/Selenium, RestAssured
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
