About the role

Renesas' Power Business Unit seeks a Senior Staff Engineer to architect and deliver next-generation analog IPs for AI infrastructure and hyperscale computing platforms. The role involves leading transistor-level design, silicon validation, and mentoring teams to ensure robust product reliability. This is a remote position based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

What you’ll do

Architect, design, and deliver high-performance analog and mixed-signal IPs including LDOs, charge pumps, and ADCs
Drive innovative circuit architectures to meet performance, power, area, yield, and reliability targets
Lead analog IP development through the complete product lifecycle from architecture to production support
Collaborate with layout engineers on floorplanning and chip-level integration for optimal parasitic-aware design
Develop and optimize simulation methodologies across pre- and post-layout verification
Establish robust analog design methodologies and review processes to maximize first-pass silicon success
Define and review chip-level ESD, latch-up, and I/O protection strategies
Mentor junior engineers and lead or manage a small team of engineers

What you’ll bring

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
10+ years of hands-on experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design
Demonstrated ownership of complex transistor-level analog IP from specification through silicon validation
Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and transistor-level design
