About the role
Intel Chassis Group builds chassis solutions for multiple SoCs, delivering high‑performance networks‑on‑chip. The Platform Integration Engineer works with SoC architecture teams to capture chassis requirements, designs and develops network‑on‑chip using chassis foundation libraries, and coordinates IP modifications with the foundation IP team while analyzing power, performance and area trade‑offs. Based in Bangalore, hybrid work model (split between Intel site and remote).
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with SoC architecture teams to define chassis requirements
- Design high‑performance networks‑on‑chip meeting PPA targets
- Coordinate with foundation IP team to modify/create IP components
- Analyze power, performance, and area trade‑offs
- Work with physical design teams on floorplan limitations
- Communicate across geographically distributed engineering teams
What you’ll bring
- 6+ years SOC/IP design
- 5+ years microarchitecture and IP design
- 2+ years fabric design/integration
- Expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog
- Knowledge of AMBA protocols (CHI, AXI, AHB, APB)
- Experience with PCIe/CXL
- Power/performance/area trade‑off analysis
- Understanding of physical design floorplan constraints
