About the role

EY GDS Technology Consulting – Cloud Native Development team builds scalable, resilient enterprise platforms on AWS. Senior Cloud Native Engineer designs and implements microservices, full‑stack applications, and CI/CD pipelines while ensuring security and cost‑optimization. Works on global transformation programs collaborating with architects and DevOps engineers, based in Bengaluru with on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop and maintain scalable cloud‑native microservices on AWS
• Build full‑stack applications using Node.js/Typescript and Java Spring Boot
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for continuous delivery
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers and product teams across global engagements
• Ensure security, compliance and cost‑optimization in cloud implementations
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions and mentor junior developers
• Contribute to modernization initiatives such as monolith‑to‑microservices migrations
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to improve efficiency

What you’ll bring

• 4-8 years IT experience
• Strong focus on cloud‑native development
• Proficiency with Node.js/Typescript and Java Spring Boot
• Hands‑on experience delivering production‑grade AWS solutions
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with microservices, event‑driven architectures
• Knowledge of security, compliance and cost‑optimization on AWS
• Ability to work in distributed, multicultural teams

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
