About the role
Quest Global – Process Engineering team designs and optimizes chemical and petroleum processes. The Lead Process Engineer develops and supervises hydraulic, heat and material balance calculations, flare load studies, and process simulations while preparing detailed reports and documentation. Works on-site at Bengaluru and Chennai locations, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
What you’ll do
- Develop and supervise hydraulic calculations, heat and material balances, and utilities summaries
- Create and oversee flare load calculations and summaries
- Conduct process studies, simulations, data gathering and consolidation
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation
- Support other engineering disciplines as needed
- Generate cause and effect diagrams, PFDs, DPDTs and P&IDs
- Perform PSV calculations, control valve sizing, and tank/vessel calculations
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering
- 8-15 years of experience in pre‑FEED, FEED and Detail phases
- Strong knowledge of Aspen HYSYS, Flare net, UNISIM
- Proficiency in hydraulic, heat and material balance calculations
- Ability to develop flare load summaries and process simulations
- Experience preparing cause and effect diagrams, PFDs, DPDTs and P&IDs
- Perform PSV calculations and control valve sizing
