About the role

Nuclear division at AtkinsRéalis delivers engineering solutions for next‑generation civil nuclear power stations and large‑scale fusion prototypes. The Lead Process Engineer designs and develops process systems from concept through detailed design, prepares design packages, conducts safety and hazard analyses, and supports commissioning activities. Based in Mumbai, India with hybrid work (3 days onsite) and flexibility to work from other locations, relocation assistance is provided.

What you’ll do

Design and develop process systems from concept to detailed design
Prepare conceptual and detailed design packages and perform optioneering
Conduct safety and hazard analyses such as HAZOP, FMEA, and fault analysis
Perform process simulations and thermal/hydraulic calculations
Support commissioning activities and produce related documentation
Coordinate with multidisciplinary stakeholders and provide technical guidance

What you’ll bring

10-16 years of experience in process engineering
Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or related engineering

Nice to have

Experience in nuclear, power or oil & gas industries
Proficiency with Aspen HYSYS and HTRI software
Knowledge of international design codes and standards
Ability to lead multi‑disciplinary design packages
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
