Lead Engineer, Process Engineering

About the role

Process Engineering Team at Quest Global focuses on optimizing downstream refinery operations through rigorous data analysis and engineering support. The Lead Engineer collects, validates, and analyzes process operating data, supports corrosion rate estimation, and collaborates with materials and reliability teams to ensure data accuracy. Based in Bengaluru, India, this role is on-site with a standard 40‑hour work week.

What you’ll do

• Understand engineering documents and workflow requirements
• Collect, validate and organize process operating data from refinery units
• Analyze key process inputs such as pressure, temperature and composition
• Support corrosion rate estimation and material degradation assessments
• Collaborate with process, materials and reliability engineering teams
• Participate in review meetings and provide client support

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 7 years experience in refinery, petrochemical or related continuous process manufacturing

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of refinery and petrochemical unit operations
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, PFDs and equipment design documents
• Proficiency in MS Excel for large dataset analysis
• Excellent documentation, communication and analytical skills
• Team‑oriented with strong coordination abilities
