About the role

Rockwell Automation seeks a Master Production Scheduler in Chennai to optimize manufacturing capacity and minimize past due orders. The role involves executing rough cut capacity planning, coordinating with S&OP teams, and maintaining SAP system accuracy. This is an on-site position reporting to the Global Planning COE Manager.

What you’ll do

Execute Rough Cut Capacity Planning at work center level
Prepare monthly and quarterly manufacturing plans aligned with capacity
Monitor inputs like efficiency and utilization for planning accuracy
Coordinate with S&OP team on load and revenue target alignment
Manage pull-in and push-out dates according to requirements
Balance manufacturing orders with Buyers/Planners based on material availability
Communicate order priority management with Customer Care and PMO
Track KPIs and implement plant-specific improvement activities

What you’ll bring

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field
3+ years of experience in manufacturing scheduling
Experience analyzing data relating to product ETO production planning
SAP experience

Nice to have

APICS – CPIM certification
Global business proficiency and understanding
Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines
Strong organizational and planning skills
