About the role
Buildings division at Ramboll focuses on sustainable, livable building design. The Senior Engineer designs ELV systems—including ICT, security, AV, and BMS—across concept to IFC stages, coordinating with architects, MEP teams, and vendors. Chennai office, on-site, hybrid collaboration with global teams, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Develop ELV system architecture and integration
- Prepare schematic and detailed drawings in AutoCAD
- Coordinate with architects, MEP, and vendors for approvals
- Generate technical reports, simulation analyses, and tender BOQs
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards
What you’ll bring
- BE Electrical
- 6+ years experience
- 3+ years Middle East projects preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks
- Knowledge of TIA-942, NFPA, NBC standards
- Experience with ELV design: ICT, CCTV, ACS, AV, BMS
Nice to have
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Ability to produce design reports, simulations, and value engineering options
- Familiarity with BIM extraction and 3D modeling
