Iris Software seeks a Java Associate Manager in Gurugram to own enterprise application architecture strategy and lead engineering teams. Day-to-day work includes defining architecture for Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, driving modernization and cloud-native adoption, establishing engineering standards and governance, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. The role also covers designing distributed systems, API-driven ecosystems, and event-driven architectures while ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
What you’ll do
- Define and drive enterprise application architecture strategy using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices while ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and long-term maintainability.
- Lead strategic technical decisions related to application modernization, framework selection, and cloud-native adoption.
- Architect distributed systems, microservices platforms, and API-driven ecosystems aligned with enterprise goals.
- Establish engineering standards, governance practices, reusable frameworks, and secure development guidelines across teams.
- Lead engineering teams and drive collaboration across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Drive implementation of non-functional requirements including scalability, observability, security, and disaster recovery.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, and modernization initiatives ensuring future-ready application ecosystems.
- Design and drive enterprise messaging and event-driven architectures using relevant messaging and event-streaming technologies.
