About the role
Retail Business Services (RBS) Data Engineering Team builds data pipelines and analytics to improve Amazon's retail operations. The Business Intelligence Engineer II designs dashboards, creates metrics, and collaborates with scientists and product leads to scale data insights, leveraging Redshift, Tableau, and Python. Bengaluru, India, on-site, hybrid schedule possible.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain BI dashboards and visualizations
- Create and recommend new operational metrics
- Build Python utilities for data analysis
- Collaborate with research scientists and product leads
- Ensure data consistency across platforms
- Mentor team on analytics best practices
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years data analysis with Redshift/Oracle/NoSQL
- 2+ years Tableau or QuickSight
- Python scripting for data processing
- SQL query development
- Data modeling and ETL pipeline experience
- Statistical analysis using R/SAS/Matlab
Nice to have
- Master's degree in BI/Finance/Engineering/Statistics
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VBA)
- AWS services (EC2, DynamoDB, S3, Redshift)
- Data mining and large-scale dataset handling
