About the role
Cross Border (XB) team at Amazon drives global expansion by delivering worldwide selection and Prime engagement. As a Business Intelligence Engineer you will design, develop, and maintain metrics, dashboards, and ETL pipelines using QuickSight and Redshift, and provide data‑driven insights to product managers and engineers. Chennai,TN,IND – on-site work model.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and data visualization dashboards
- Create and automate metrics, reports, and analyses for business decisions
- Validate data accuracy for new and existing tools
- Perform ad‑hoc and strategic data analyses and root cause investigations
- Collaborate with product managers and software developers to translate requirements into analytics solutions
- Build automation to reduce manual data pulls
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years data analysis with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL
- Experience with Tableau, QuickSight or similar visualization tools
- Proficiency in Python, Java or R scripting
- Statistical methods such as t‑test, chi‑squared
- Master's degree or advanced technical degree
- Knowledge of data modeling and pipeline design
- Experience with statistical and correlation analysis
