Infrastructure Engineer (Network DDI Engineer)

About the role

As an Infrastructure Engineer at the associate level, you will engineer cloud infrastructure and manage DDI technologies to meet customer needs. You will collaborate with stakeholders on product roadmaps, develop infrastructure as code, and provide operational support for network issues. This role is based in Bengaluru.

What you’ll do

• Engineer infrastructure technology for public and private cloud environments
• Manage selection, creation and maintenance of technologies for customers and strategic targets
• Collaborate with stakeholders to inform product roadmaps and lifecycle management
• Develop technical skills through continuous learning and development
• Design intuitive, self-service infrastructure products within a team
• Contribute to the delivery of infrastructure as code solutions
• Provide operational support for pattern or product related issues
• Generate innovative ideas and drive the delivery of those through product features

What you’ll bring

• Minimum five years of experience supporting enterprise DNS, DHCP and IPAM environments
• Hands-on experience administering Infoblox DDI solutions
• Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP and IPAM technologies and best practices
• Experience troubleshooting DNS resolution, DHCP allocation and IP management issues

Nice to have

• Experience in software development or automation scripting such as Python or Shell
• Good knowledge of network infrastructure, including routing, switching and firewall technologies
• Experience working with Infoblox Grid Manager and associated reporting tools
• Understanding of cloud networking concepts within Azure and AWS environments
