Network Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

IT Infrastructure team at Qube Cinema builds and maintains enterprise network environments supporting global cinema operations. The Network Infrastructure Engineer designs, implements and secures LAN, WAN, WLAN and data centre networks, monitors performance and resolves issues in a 24/7 rotational shift. Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India – onsite with on‑call duties, hybrid flexibility as role permits.

What you’ll do

• Design and deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN and data centre networks
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers
• Monitor performance and proactively resolve incidents
• Implement security solutions including VPNs and IDS/IPS
• Manage IP schemes, segmentation and routing policies
• Perform root cause analysis and capacity planning
• Document architecture diagrams and operational procedures
• Collaborate with Cloud and DevOps teams on integration projects

What you’ll bring

• 5-6 years of network engineering experience
• Design, implementation and management of LAN/WAN/WLAN
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers
• Implement VPNs, IDS/IPS and network security solutions
• Manage IP addressing, subnetting and routing policies
• Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds or Nagios
• Cloud networking knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Basic scripting in Python or PowerShell

Nice to have

• CCNA or CCNP certification
• Firewall certification (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
• CompTIA Network+ (optional)
