About the role
Apple Product Operations team drives manufacturing excellence for new product launches. The Technical Program Manager leads technical programs across multiple vendors, developing and optimizing production processes, implementing new technologies, and providing mentorship to engineering groups and factory technicians. Based in India, on-site work model with up to 50% travel required.
What you’ll do
- Lead technical program for manufacturing operations across multiple vendors
- Drive contract manufacturer preparation for pre-production builds
- Develop and optimize production processes and documentation
- Implement new technologies to improve quality, capacity and efficiency
- Provide mentorship and resources to engineering groups and factory technicians
- Communicate program health to VP level
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years engineering and manufacturing experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience with DFM, DOE, SPC techniques
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
