About the role
The Project Management team at Computacenter delivers exceptional project outcomes for global clients across EMEA, APAC, and US regions, collaborating with Consultancy and Engineering teams. As a Project Manager, you will support Lead Project Managers and manage smaller or less complex assignments on larger projects, maintaining project plans, running initiation workshops, managing resources, and producing highlight reports. The role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and operates remotely.
What you’ll do
- Support Lead Project Managers and manage smaller/less complex assignments or work streams on larger projects and programmes for external or internal customers
- Be conversant with and adhere to methodologies for delivering Professional Services engagement outcomes
- Support the LPM in Pre-Sales to define scope, agree requirements, produce cost model and plans, and produce a Statement of Work or provide assurance
- Maintain and/or create the Project Plan
- Run, contribute to, or support the LPM in delivering initiation Workshops
- Manage the assignment in line with financial rules and commitments
- Create/contribute to ensure all relevant documents, tools and logs are stored on the Customer site and are up to date to enable central reporting
- Create, or help deliver Product Descriptions (PDs) for key project deliverables
What you’ll bring
- 10 to 12 years of experience
- Trained in Project Management, for example Prince2, to Foundation level and working towards a Practitioner qualification or equivalent
- Knowledge of Agile techniques
- Demonstrable track record of delivering successful project outcomes
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Emotionally Intelligent, able to adapt personal style and approach to meet customer needs
- Ability to understand the Business outputs required from your assignment
- Skilled user of Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Project and other relevant tools
