About the role

Coupa Software Development team builds AI‑enhanced spend management platforms that help businesses predict, prescribe, and automate smarter decisions. As a Senior Software Engineer you will design, develop, and maintain product features, collaborate with product and design, conduct code reviews, improve processes, and help scale the platform. Pune, India, hybrid (3 days onsite).

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain product features
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams
• Conduct code reviews for robust code
• Iterate quickly in an agile environment
• Improve code, processes, and business practices
• Support customers with issue resolution
• Scale platform as usage grows

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years enterprise software development
• Ruby on Rails or Python‑Django
• React and JavaScript
• Go for microservices
• CI/CD tools like Github Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity
• MySQL, Redis or similar databases
• AWS EC2 or similar cloud environments
• Observability tools such as New Relic
