About the role
This Petroleum Engineer - Artificial Lift role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India as a full-time, office-based position. The engineer will manage, interpret, and technically analyze parameters for artificially lifted wells, working closely with wells, production, and reservoir engineering teams to monitor and validate well production surveillance and artificial lift data. Day-to-day duties include writing investigation reports, performing compliance checks and approvals, and managing databases using SharePoint and other document control systems.
What you’ll do
- Manage, interpret, technically analyze and integrate parameters associated with Artificially Lifted wells (office based role)
- Work closely with wells, production & reservoir engineering teams to monitor and validate Well Production surveillance and artificial lift data
- Write reports on investigations/findings in accordance with the scope and send for review
- Perform compliance check on reports in accordance with the scope and approve
- Manage databases using SharePoint and other Document Control Databases
- Work closely with production & reservoir engineering teams to monitor and validate Well Production Performance/surveillance data
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree from a recognized university in Petroleum engineering
- 3-9 years of oil and gas experience in related industry (Upstream/Uncon/Artificial Lift/oil & gas production)
- Strong knowledge on any two artificial lift methods: Sucker rod pumping, Electrical Submersible Pumps, Gas Lift, Plunger lift, Screw Pump
- Ability to manage, interpret, technically analyze and integrate parameters associated with Artificially Lifted wells
- Ability to work closely with wells, production & reservoir engineering teams to monitor and validate Well Production surveillance and artificial lift data
- Ability to write reports on investigations/findings in accordance with the scope and send for review
- Ability to perform compliance check on reports in accordance with the scope and approve
- Database management using SharePoint and other Document Control Databases
