About the role
The Petroleum Engineer- Business Intelligence role supports upstream and production engineering teams by managing and interpreting technical parameters. Day-to-day duties include utilizing MS Power BI for data visualization, validating well production surveillance data, and managing databases via SharePoint. This full-time position is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
What you’ll do
- Manage, interpret, and integrate technical parameters from Petroleum Engineering
- Utilize MS Power BI to visualize data in meaningful formats
- Collaborate with wells, production, and reservoir engineering teams
- Monitor and validate Well Production surveillance and artificial lift data
- Write and review reports on investigations and findings
- Perform compliance checks and approve reports
- Manage databases using SharePoint and other Document Control Databases
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering
- 3-9 years of oil and gas industry experience
- Expertise in MS Power BI or similar BI tools
- Experience with Upstream, Unconventional, or Artificial Lift domains
