About the role

Qualifacts is a leading provider of behavioral health software and SaaS solutions, including the CareLogic, Credible, and InSync platforms, serving the behavioral health and human services market. As Manager, Engineering based in Vadodara, India, you will lead and mentor a full stack development team in an Agile/Scrum environment, contribute to technical design and architecture decisions, and drive the software development lifecycle from planning through deployment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and US-based stakeholders, promote AI-powered development tools, and support modernization initiatives within a permanent work-from-office role on the 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM IST shift.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of full stack developers in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and enhancements
  • Contribute to technology roadmap and modernization initiatives
  • Drive the software development process from planning, design, and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Promote the use of AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to improve code quality, accelerate development, and enhance team productivity
  • Encourage continuous evaluation and adoption of emerging AI technologies to optimize workflows and reduce manual effort
  • Ensure the team follows best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines to deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in software development with extensive expertise in Microsoft technologies
  • 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams
  • Proven track record of leading and managing large development teams (15+ members) in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Experience in AWS Cloud Services
  • Sound knowledge of database management systems with hands-on experience in SQL Server
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and ability to integrate them into team workflows
  • Expertise in scalable architecture, API design, and integration patterns
