About the role
The Product Cost Manager drives product cost reductions (VAVE) to meet or exceed targets for the product line. This role analyzes cost levers, evaluates sourcing strategies, performs teardown and should costing, and presents findings to executives. The position is based in Pune, India.
What you’ll do
- Delivering product cost reductions (VAVE) that meet or exceed targets
- Analyzing product costs levers and evaluating alternative sourcing/manufacturing strategies
- Performing Teardown analysis and Should costing
- Monitoring actual costs vs. target
- Developing and presenting executive level presentations
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical degree; Electrical Engineering preferred
- 7 plus years’ experience in VAVE, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing
