About the role

The Core-Risk team within Goldman Sachs' Risk Engineering division ensures senior leadership and regulators have a complete view of the firm's market risk profile. The Analyst role supports the modeling, production, and interpretation of independent risk and capital metrics to aid in actionable risk management decisions. This position is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

What you’ll do

• Support the production and review of independent risk and capital metrics.
• Assist in modeling and interpreting analytics used to ensure adherence to Risk Appetite.
• Help communicate risk insights to the Chief Risk Officer, senior management, and regulators.
• Contribute to maintaining the appropriate amount of Risk Capital through data analysis.

What you’ll bring

• Masters or Bachelors degree in a quantitative discipline such as data science, mathematics, physics, econometrics, computer science or engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience, preferably in financial, regulatory or consulting environment.
