FP&A Business Performance Advisor

About the role

FP&A Business Performance Advisor delivers financial planning and performance management products across bp businesses. Partners with onsite technical and finance leaders in multiple geographies to understand business context, develop insightful financial products, and manage planning and performance work. Coaches junior analysts, manages stakeholder expectations, and ensures overlap with European/British time zones. Drives continuous improvement, standardization, and automation of financial reporting and MI systems. Fosters cross‑team collaboration and a positive culture.

What you’ll do

• Partner with onsite technical and finance leaders across geographies
• Develop financial products to support decision-making
• Manage planning and performance management work
• Coach junior analysts and manage stakeholder expectations
• Ensure overlap hours with European/British time zones
• Promote new systems and continuous improvement of MI processes
• Drive standardization and automation of financial reporting
• Foster cross‑team collaboration and positive culture

What you’ll bring

• Business/Finance or Engineering degree
• Extensive performance reporting & business planning experience
• Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft products, Power BI, Tableau
• Strong stakeholder relationship management
• Coaching team members

Nice to have

• CA, CIMA, ACCA designation
• 10+ years post-degree experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting
• Experience in retail, manufacturing, logistics
