Regional Technical Product Manager

About the role

Freudenberg Filtration Technologies seeks a Regional Technical Product Manager to lead product lifecycle, innovation, and technical support across the Pune region. The role sustains existing product programs, drives cost‑saving initiatives through VA/VE, and delivers technical data for marketing and certification. It defines new product specifications, manages APQP teams to market launch, and provides expert support to production, purchasing, and quality functions, including damage analysis and customer inquiries. The manager shapes product policy, roadmaps, and competitive benchmarking, monitors regional standards, and represents the company in industry associations. Knowledge transfer through conferences, training, and patent monitoring is also required. Candidates hold a Master’s in engineering or related field, possess strong FMEA and Value Engineering expertise, and are proficient in Microsoft Office. The position demands short‑term global travel and a collaborative, self‑driven mindset.

What you’ll do

• Sustain product program, optimize, cost reduction via VA/VE, provide technical data & certificates
• Initiate product innovations, define specs, manage APQP teams to launch
• Provide technical support to internal functions, analyze damage, answer inquiries, onsite visits
• Define product policy, roadmap, benchmark competitors, analyze trends
• Monitor standards, drive regionally, collaborate with directors and managers
• Transfer expertise via conferences, training, seminars, monitor patents, coordinate actions

What you’ll bring

• Master degree in chemical, process, mechanical engineering, technical textiles or related
• Product Management, product life cycle analysis and management
• Strong knowledge of FMEAs and Value Analysis/Engineering
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Self‑organized, initiative, team oriented
• Willingness for short‑term global travel, multicultural environment
