About the role

Cohere Health Platform Engineering team builds a clinical intelligence platform that connects health plans and providers. The Senior SDET Engineer will design and maintain end‑to‑end test automation frameworks for UI and API, integrate validation into CI/CD pipelines, and partner with platform and SRE teams to ensure release safety in a regulated healthcare environment. What you’ll do

• Own and evolve end‑to‑end test automation strategy
• Design scalable UI and API automation frameworks
• Build automated validation for deployment guardrails and release readiness
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines with Platform/DevOps
• Create coverage for high‑risk workflows and partner integrations
• Drive test reliability and reduce flaky tests
• Define quality gates for production releases and canary deployments
• Mentor engineers on testability and quality‑first development

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years in QA automation or SDET roles
• Strong experience building UI and API automation frameworks with TypeScript
• Proficient with Playwright, Cypress or PyTest
• Strong API testing experience (REST)
• Experience with cloud‑native systems on AWS
• Familiar with microservices and event‑driven architectures
• Experience testing configuration‑driven systems and feature flags
• Strong debugging across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
