About the role

Axis Bank seeks a Circle Head in Chennai to lead branch network expansion and profitability. The role involves coordinating with cluster and branch heads to drive business growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor talent. This senior leadership position requires extensive experience in the BFSI sector to manage complex client situations and strategic planning.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and implement Circle business growth strategy for profitable growth
• Plan branch expansion plans and upgradation of extension counters
• Establish budgets and targets for Circle Office teams and Branch Heads
• Strengthen relations with Key Customers to generate business
• Review performance of Circle Office teams, Clusters and Branches
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and audit observations
• Coach and mentor high potential talent for higher responsibilities
• Liaise with project teams and support service providers for service delivery

What you’ll bring

• 15-20 years of experience in the BFSI sector
• Graduation / Post-Graduation (MBA-Marketing preferred)
• NCFM and AMFI Certifications

Nice to have

• Knowledge of industry, technology, marketing, and product trends
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms
• Good communication skills in English and local language
• Ability to manage complex client situations
• Ability to coach and mentor others
