About the role
SYSTRA's Project Management Consultancy team for the Mumbai‑Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project seeks a Site Engineer IDS 1. The role supports the Chief Expert and Deputy Chief Expert in design review, installation, integration, testing and commissioning of the Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) and its interfaces with signalling, SCADA and ticketing subsystems. Work is performed on‑site in Surat, Gujarat, with standard office hours and occasional coordination with agencies such as ISA and CMRS.
What you’ll do
- Assist Chief Expert and Deputy Chief Expert with IDS tasks
- Review IDS designs and support installation and commissioning
- Coordinate IDS interfaces with other systems and approve documentation
- Verify completed work and prepare contractor payment requests
- Liaise with NHSRCL and external agencies for approvals
What you’ll bring
- Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech) or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics
- 5 years experience for graduates or 7 years for diploma holders in optical‑fiber system implementation
Nice to have
- Experience with design review and integration of IDS
- Familiarity with signalling, SCADA and ticketing systems
- Ability to prepare payment requests and obtain statutory approvals
