Sr Associate Business Analyst

About the role

Join Amgen’s Mission of Serving Patients. As a Sr Associate Business Analyst, you will detail product requirements, create business process maps, use cases, and test plans for Veeva Vault CTMS. Collaborate with System Architects, Product Managers, Veeva engineers, data and AI/ML engineers to ensure technical requirements are fully elaborated, enabling accurate estimation, planning, and delivery. You will prioritize release scopes, refine product backlog, support integrations, define acceptance criteria, align with UX, provide proactive feedback, develop product demos, and maintain accurate documentation.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with System Architects and Product Managers to manage business analysis for Veeva Vault CTMS
• Capture customer voice to define business processes and product needs
• Define scope and value for new developments with Product Managers and customers
• Prioritize release scopes and refine product backlog with Veeva collaborators and engineers
• Support implementation and integration of Veeva Vault CTMS with other Amgen systems
• Include non-functional requirements in product and release backlogs
• Break down epics into features and sprint-sized user stories; review backlog with dev team
• Clearly express features in user stories/requirements for all collaborators
• Define acceptance criteria and definition of done
• Align technical requirements, scenarios, and process maps with UX designs
• Provide proactive feedback to ensure software meets requirements
• Develop and implement product demonstrations for internal and external customers
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and changes

What you’ll bring

Master’s degree + 1-3 yrs Life Science/Tech OR Bachelor’s + 3-5 yrs OR Diploma + 7-9 yrs

Excellent problem-solving, Agile Scrum, strong communication, web app requirements, JIRA acceptance criteria
