About the role

Join the Identity Services programmes as a Software Engineer (IAM/Ping) at the VP level, based in Chennai or Gurugram. You will design, produce, test, and implement working software across the full system lifecycle within a permanent feature team, liaising with principal engineers and architects to align platform work with business objectives. Day-to-day work applies Agile methods to backlog development, delivers intentional architecture and emergent design through experimentation, and focuses on automating build, test, and deployment activities using executable patterns.

What you’ll do

• Develop knowledge of aspects of the associated platform across business, applications, data, and infrastructure disciplines
• Liaise with principal engineers, architects in the domain, and other key stakeholders to understand how the platform works and supports business objectives
• Apply Agile methods to the development of software on the backlog
• Produce resilient and long-lived software and act flexibly to cope with future needs
• Deliver intentional architecture and formulate emergent design through innovative ideas, experimentation, and prototyping
• Design and develop software with a focus on automation of build, test, and deployment activities using executable patterns

What you’ll bring

• Strong full stack experience in software design and implementation
• Ability to exploit programming languages to solve complex problems
• Capability in complex requirements analysis, capture, and validation against business and systems requirements
• Experience in design, implementation, and support of enterprise IAM solutions using Ping Identity technologies
• Ability to develop automation capabilities to improve operational efficiency and scalability
• Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance across Identity Services programmes
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts simply
