Camunda Engineer

About the role

Iris Software is hiring a Camunda Engineer in Noida, India, to design and build business automation solutions for enterprise clients. Day-to-day work involves designing, developing, and maintaining BPMN 2.0, DMN, and CMMN workflows with Camunda BPM, implementing end-to-end processes using the Camunda Engine, REST APIs, and Java, and integrating Camunda with microservices and external systems. The role also includes developing Java-based services, delegates, listeners, and connectors, optimizing process performance and error handling, and writing unit and integration tests.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain BPMN 2.0, DMN, and CMMN workflows using Camunda BPM
• Implement end-to-end business processes using Camunda Engine, REST APIs, and Java
• Integrate Camunda with microservices, external systems, and third-party APIs
• Develop and maintain Java-based services, delegates, listeners, and connectors
• Optimize process performance, transaction handling, and error management
• Write unit and integration tests for process logic

What you’ll bring

• 3–5 years of overall IT experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Camunda BPM, Java, and SQL
• Strong hands-on experience with Camunda BPM (7.x preferred)
• Expertise in BPMN 2.0, DMN, and workflow modeling best practices
• Proficiency in Java and Spring / Spring Boot
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous messaging
• Knowledge of Camunda process engine internals
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL
