About the role
State Street Cloud Security team safeguards enterprise cloud environments across AWS and Azure. The Senior Cloud Security Engineer designs and implements secure baseline configurations, automates controls with Terraform and Python, and integrates security into CI/CD pipelines while supporting incident response. Hyderabad, India and Bangalore, India – Hybrid, 4 days onsite per week.
What you’ll do
- Establish secure baseline configurations for cloud services
- Implement preventative and detective cloud security controls
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines with DevOps teams
- Support incident response and remediation efforts
- Document deliverables and transition operational activities
What you’ll bring
- 14+ years overall IT experience
- 8+ years Cloud Engineering/Security/Operations
- Deep expertise in AWS and Azure
- Hands‑on Terraform and Python for security automation
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, encryption, secrets management
- Experience in large‑scale multi‑cloud environments
- Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Security, Microsoft Cyber Security Architect, CCSP)
