About the role
Finance team at Boomi drives data activation and compliance across the enterprise. The Senior Compliance Analyst designs, tests and evaluates internal controls over financial reporting, partners with Finance, IT and Operations to remediate gaps and ensures SOX compliance. Based in Bangalore or Hyderabad, India, working U.S. Eastern Time hours, on-site with occasional remote collaboration.
What you’ll do
- Design, test and evaluate internal controls over financial reporting
- Plan and execute control testing cycles and document results
- Partner with Finance, IT and Operations owners to remediate gaps
- Manage deficiencies and ensure SOX compliance for new processes
- Serve as liaison with external auditors and cross‑functional teams
- Monitor regulatory developments and update policies
- Project manage control testing timelines and deliverables
- Collaborate with global stakeholders in U.S. Eastern Time hours
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years experience in corporate compliance or internal audit
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and COSO framework
- Experience supporting SOX compliance programs
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work with remote colleagues across geographies
- Familiarity with Workiva GRC software (preferred)
