About the role

66degrees is an end-to-end AI transformation partner that helps enterprises turn complex business challenges into quantifiable outcomes using cloud, AI, and data. As a Cloud Architect, you will build trusted advisory relationships with strategic accounts, lead requirements gathering and solution design, and promote Google Cloud across client engagements, conferences, and online. The role focuses on making clients' GCP environments reliable and secure, with travel to customer sites and events as required. Location: India.

What you’ll do

• Build a trusted advisory relationship with strategic accounts and engage with management
• Identify customer priorities, technical objections, and design strategies encompassing the Google ecosystem to deliver business growth and resolve blockers
• Lead requirements gathering and project scoping
• Perform solution design, problem-solving, and architecture diagramming
• Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise technology and effectively promote Google Cloud with clients, at conferences, and online
• Provide recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure needed to implement a complete solution for clients
• Lead planning, status, and standup meetings
• Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of GCP experience is a must
• GCP Architect Certification required
• 2+ years of experience as a GCP Architect
• Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing distributed global cloud-based systems
• Extensive experience with security (zero trust) and networking in cloud environments
• Ability to advise and implement CI/CD practices using GitHub, GitLab, Cloud Build, and Cloud Deploy
• Experience containerising workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Artifact Registry
• Experience with structured Cloud Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premises-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps

Nice to have

• Experience in other clouds is beneficial
• Other certifications for Google, Kubernetes, or Terraform are a plus
• Experience implementing hybrid connectivity using VPN or Cloud Interconnect is a plus
