About the role
Mastercard's Business & Markets Insights (BMI) organization, within the Payment Reconciliation Intelligence (PRI) Program's Global Product Management team, seeks a Lead Product Manager Tech to evolve products with AI intelligence. Day-to-day, you will own strategy and roadmap for Gen AI and agentic capabilities, translate customer insights into products, partner with engineering and data science on architecture and safety, own PRDs and release planning, lead user research and experimentation, support go-to-market, and mentor junior product managers. This full-time role is based in Pune, India.
What you’ll do
- Own strategy and roadmap for Gen AI and agentic capabilities across Payment Reconciliation Intelligence.
- Translate a deep understanding of customers into products and solutions that drive significant customer value.
- Balance long-term product direction with today's needs by understanding technical, competitive, and commercial contexts.
- Partner with engineering, data science/AI, and platform/COE teams to ensure architecture quality, safety, evaluation, and observability.
- Own PRDs, backlog prioritizations, story writing, dependencies, and release planning.
- Partner with Customer Experience team to design intuitive, highly relevant features of maximum value to clients.
- Lead user research, discovery, and experimentation to validate use cases, accuracy, trust, and business impact.
- Support go-to-market and customer enablement through demos, query resolution, documentation, and training.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- AI know-how, specifically experience of working on Gen AI & agentic use cases support & delivery.
- Payments industry experience.
