SAP PP/QM Consultant

About the role

GEA Group – Westfalia Separator India, part of the global transformation project T360, focuses on optimizing production and logistics processes within the manufacturing sector. The SAP PP/QM Consultant will design, configure, and implement SAP production and quality management solutions, conduct requirement analyses, and deliver training to key users. Based in Pune, on-site work model, with occasional travel to support rollouts.

What you’ll do

• Provide comprehensive support for the P2P workstream within the global transformation project T360
• Analyze, design, and implement SAP production solutions for various projects and changes
• Prepare requirement analyses and technical specifications; configure solutions to meet customer needs
• Plan and deliver training sessions for key users and end users
• Support logistics applications and processes, resolving incidents/changes within SLAs
• Manage escalations and coordinate between stakeholders and team members
• Share knowledge within the team and help build competencies and improve deliverable quality
• Assist with rollout of new SAP versions and updates

What you’ll bring

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience as an SAP consultant, preferably in machinery and plant engineering
• Extensive expertise in SAP PP and QM implementation and configuration
• Experience integrating SAP PP/QM with MM, EWM, WM, SD, and FICO modules
• Experience in MES area is desirable
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• High customer orientation and excellent communication skills
• Very good English, both written and spoken
