About the role

The Manager ITDD Veteran role sits within KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services LLP's KPMG Global Services (KGS) Deal Advisory & Strategy (DA&S) team in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The team provides advisory support across the deal lifecycle, conducting buy-side and sell-side due diligence for clients in sectors such as financial services, consumer markets, healthcare, energy, and TMT. Day-to-day, you will support Tech M&A Managers and Senior Managers on small to medium engagements, performing technology due diligence, analyzing target data on IT costs, products, systems, and contracts, and contributing to integration and separation workstreams. You will also help prepare IT reports, support client workshops and meetings, and assist senior colleagues with proposal materials when not on a project.

What you’ll do

• Support Tech M&A Managers and Senior Managers with small to medium sized engagements as day-to-day support
• Analyze target data to build a view of the technology of the business, including cost, products, systems, and IT contracts
• Condense data and explain findings simply to team members, highlighting the impact of technology on business strategy, operations, and deal valuation
• Develop an understanding of IT benchmark and qualitative information to provide client insights describing a typical IT function
• Assist in client communications, calls, and meetings
• Contribute content for sections of IT reports and deliverables
• Understand technology aspects of integration, separation (carve outs), and optimization initiatives, including current IT landscape and target operating models
• Support the IT workstream lead in integrations and separations and support key client workshops and meetings

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college/university, preferably with a major in Technology
• Relevant PG/Masters degree or Certification is preferred
