About the role

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Manager Logistics in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, to lead logistics plans affecting production, distribution, and inventory. The role involves managing carrier selection, contract negotiations, and driving continuous improvement in logistics processes while maintaining cost models and forecasts. This is an on-site position requiring daily presence at the facility.

What you’ll do

• Lead analyzing and developing of logistics plans for production, distribution, and inventory
• Manage all carrier selection, renewals, and contract negotiations
• Drive continuous improvement of logistics processes through project planning
• Develop and maintain cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models
• Track costs and savings for all transportation modes
• Interfacing with selected carriers to maintain expected service levels
