About the role

Corporate Network Automation team at Amazon designs, builds and automates edge network connectivity for 500+ remote offices and integrates with AWS cloud. The Wireless Network Development Engineer creates multi‑vendor data solutions, scales network designs, automates device deployments with CDK and Python, and leads design and security reviews while supporting 24x7 operations. Bengaluru, KA, IND – On-site location.

What you’ll do

• Design and build multi‑vendor connectivity solutions
• Scale network designs to meet demand
• Collaborate with vendors and cross‑functional teams
• Automate deployment of network devices using CDK and Python
• Create and review documentation, SOPs and knowledge transfer material
• Lead design, code and security reviews across teams
• Participate in 24x7 on‑call rotation for critical events
• Drive operational excellence projects to improve network quality

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 2+ years experience with internet routing and switching protocols
• 2+ years experience in Linux/Unix environments
• 2+ years automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell or Perl
• Basic knowledge of RF planning and optimization
