Business Assurance & Internal Consulting Manager / Senior Manager

About the role

Business Assurance team for Merchant Payments at Paytm builds internal consulting, audit, and assurance capabilities to evaluate commercial logic, cost impact, and compliance of initiatives. The role conducts diagnostic reviews, process and compliance checks, and delivers end‑to‑end improvement projects, producing executive‑ready insights. Based in Noida/Gurugram, on-site work model.

What you’ll do

• Independently review business logic, assumptions, and impact of projects
• Assess cost and P&L impact and pressure‑test economics
• Run assurance checks on processes and structures, recommend corrective actions
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of review/improvement projects
• Structure ambiguous problems into clear workplans
• Produce executive‑ready outputs such as decks, memos, and dashboards
• Partner with Business, Product, Operations, Compliance, and Tech teams

What you’ll bring

• 2-3 years experience in management consulting or CXO office/strategy/business‑operations
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Working knowledge of SQL or Python
• Strong analytical and financial acumen
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
• Exposure to payments, lending, or fintech is a plus

Education

Undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree from a top‑tier institution
