AI Backend Engineer, Binance Accelerator Program

About the role

Binance Accelerator Program team focuses on building cutting‑edge AI solutions for the Binance ecosystem. As an AI Backend Engineer Intern you will develop and improve production‑grade AI agent runtime systems, including intent routing, RAG pipelines, and tool orchestration, while collaborating with senior backend and data science engineers. Remote work from India, with flexible hours and mentorship throughout the internship.

What you’ll do

• Develop and enhance components of AI agent runtime systems such as intent routing and retrieval‑augmented generation
• Build integrations for web search, market data services, and reporting APIs
• Create evaluation datasets and testing frameworks to measure system performance
• Improve observability through tracing, metrics, logging, and dashboards
• Collaborate with backend, data science, and algorithm engineers to deliver production‑ready AI features

What you’ll bring

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI or related field
• Strong proficiency in Python and clean code practices
• Understanding of backend service architectures and testing
• Familiarity with LLM concepts, RAG, or AI agent frameworks
• Experience with tools like Kafka, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
