About the role

This senior leadership role focuses on shaping public policy and strategic partnerships across India’s AI landscape. The Lead engages policymakers, monitors regulatory developments, and advises senior leadership on responsible AI frameworks. This remote position is based in India.

What you’ll do

• Lead engagement with government bodies on AI governance and digital rights
• Build trusted relationships with policymakers and regulators
• Monitor and analyze emerging regulatory developments
• Represent the organization at industry forums and conferences
• Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on policy trends
• Partner with Legal and Safety teams on responsible AI practices
• Develop and execute policy campaigns and stakeholder initiatives

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years experience in public policy or government affairs
• Significant experience with technology and AI policy
• Strong knowledge of Indian policy and regulatory landscape
• Proven track record influencing policy outcomes
• Fluency in English and Hindi
