About the role
Egis Buildings team builds sustainable infrastructure across the Middle East and South Asia. The BIM Technician creates and maintains detailed 3D structural models in Revit, performs clash detection, and generates construction documentation to support engineering and client coordination. Based in Bengaluru, India, this on-site role collaborates daily with structural engineers and project stakeholders to ensure code compliance and accurate quantity takeoffs.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain 3D structural BIM models
- Coordinate clash detection and resolve interdisciplinary conflicts
- Produce construction drawings, specifications, and quantity takeoffs
- Collaborate with engineers and clients during project meetings
- Stay current with BIM technologies and best practices
What you’ll bring
- 6+ years BIM experience in structural engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks
- Strong knowledge of structural codes and analysis principles
- BIM certification preferred
