About the role

Cohere Health Platform Engineering builds a regulated, high‑impact healthcare platform that connects payers and providers. The Senior SDET Engineer shapes automation strategy, designs end‑to‑end UI and API test frameworks, and integrates validation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure safe releases. Hyderabad office, on-site work model, with relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Define and evolve end‑to‑end test automation strategy across UI, API, and critical workflows
• Build scalable automation frameworks for multi‑tenant, payer‑specific scenarios
• Integrate automated validation into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Create coverage for high‑risk paths such as authorization flows and partner integrations
• Drive test reliability, reduce flakiness, and provide actionable failure signals
• Enforce quality gates for production releases, blue/green and canary deployments
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and SRE to ensure testable, measurable outcomes
• Mentor engineers on testability, automation best practices, and quality‑first development

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years in QA automation or SDET roles
• Hands‑on experience building UI and API automation frameworks with Playwright or Cypress
• Strong API testing using REST and TypeScript
• CI/CD pipeline integration with GitHub Actions or similar
• Experience with cloud‑native systems on AWS
• Microservices and event‑driven architecture background
• Testing configuration‑driven systems and feature flags
• Debugging across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
