About the role

The Senior Mechanical Engineer designs HVAC and piping systems, performs load and stress analyses, and creates detailed CAD/BIM models. Works from the Mumbai office in a hybrid model, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and guiding junior engineers.
What you’ll do
- Design HVAC systems, perform load calculations, select equipment
- Develop piping layouts and system specifications
- Create mechanical design drawings and 3D models using CAD/BIM
- Conduct heat load, flow, and stress analysis for HVAC and piping
- Review drawings and P&IDs for constructability and compliance
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to avoid design clashes
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers, review deliverables
- Engage with clients to define scope, present progress, ensure satisfaction
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- 10+ years mechanical/HVAC design experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, BIM tools
- Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards and building codes
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, data center or commercial projects
