Core Maintenance Utilities Engineer

About the role

Engineering & Technology team at Jio Platforms focuses on maintaining critical utility infrastructure. The Core Maintenance Utilities Engineer oversees utility equipment performance, manages contracts, and ensures uptime through level‑2 rectifications and preventive maintenance. Role based in Tiruchirapalli, on-site, coordinating with core teams for issue resolution and monitoring utility alarms and consumption.

What you’ll do

• Issue materials and manage contracts for the CMP
• Monitor performance of utility equipment against SLAs
• Ensure uptime of utility equipment and network facilities
• Carry out level 2 rectification of utility equipment
• Coordinate with core team for critical issue resolution
• Track corrective and preventive maintenance of utility equipment
• Monitor utility alarms and ensure closure
• Track consumption per hour of utility equipment

What you’ll bring

• 5-10 years experience
• BE in ENTC/Mechanical/Electrical
• Knowledge of utility equipment
• Knowledge of energy optimization
• Knowledge of QHSE policies
• Collaboration skills
• Problem solving skills
• Technical orientation
