About the role
Jabil is a global engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing solutions provider partnering with top brands across 100+ sites worldwide. The Quality Engineer II represents the quality function for technical support alongside internal groups on manufacturing issues. Day-to-day work includes developing QA plans and process routings, supporting quoting and inspection processes, tracking corrective/preventative actions, conducting defect trend analysis, and liaising with suppliers and customers on quality matters. This is a full-time, remote role based in India.
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain QA plans and process routings reflecting intended and actual activities
- Support quoting activities through participation in initial process design, development, and implementation phases
- Evaluate and support inspection processes via inspection aids and instruction guidelines
- Support training programs by developing and implementing specialized training sessions for applicable functions
- Conduct periodic review and maintenance of documentation files and develop systems for document storage and access
- Review supplier or customer discrepancies and coordinate and track corrective/preventative action efforts
- Provide trend analysis of defects occurring at the customer, supplier, and internally
- Participate in vendor survey activities and drive proactive supplier process improvement efforts
What you’ll bring
