About the role

This Director, Information Security role leads enterprise-wide cyber defense capabilities for a partner company based in India. The position combines strategic leadership with operational oversight of security operations, detection engineering, and incident response functions. It is a remote-based opportunity focused on strengthening threat visibility and organizational resilience.

What you’ll do

  • Define and mature security operations frameworks and response standards
  • Lead security operations including monitoring, investigation, and incident response
  • Improve detection coverage through analytics, automation, and orchestration
  • Collaborate with IT on secure integrations and logging pipelines
  • Oversee security technology portfolio and establish improvement roadmaps
  • Guide security configuration standards and vulnerability prioritization
  • Manage relationships with external security providers
  • Develop executive-level reports on cybersecurity performance and risk

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 10+ years cybersecurity experience
  • 7+ years leading incident response and security operations
  • Expertise with SIEM, SOAR, XDR/EDR, and forensic tools
  • Experience building and leading high-performing security teams

Nice to have

  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC certifications
  • Experience in regulated industries
