About the role

Data Management Group (DMG) within Gain's Private Equity Intelligence team ensures high‑quality research content by updating company profiles and data sets worldwide. The DMG Associate leads a team of analysts, drives quality reviews, recruits talent, and implements process and automation improvements. Bangalore, hybrid work model, with flexible schedule and relocation support available.

What you’ll do

• Deliver regional update targets ensuring high‑quality financial, market and business research
• Conduct quality reviews, identify issues and provide training
• Support recruitment of research analysts to meet headcount goals
• Train, develop and motivate team members fostering continuous learning
• Identify and execute data improvement and automation initiatives

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years experience in strategy consulting, global IBD, Big 4 or research centre in India
• Experience in private equity/venture capital market is a plus
• Managed teams of ~10+ FTEs
• Strong financial and company analysis skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Bias to action and hands‑on delivery mindset
• Empathetic and decisive management style
