About the role

Digital Manufacturing & Supply team at Sanofi India leads the creation, delivery and maintenance of digital solutions for manufacturing, quality and administrative processes. As Head of Digital Manufacturing & Supply Software Engineering you will lead up to 50 engineers and contractors, shape strategy, champion modern engineering practices and drive AI‑enabled automation at scale. What you’ll do

  • Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance for multiple engineering teams
  • Mentor distributed teams across locations and foster a culture of innovation
  • Drive development of cloud‑native micro‑services and ensure scalability and reliability
  • Collaborate with executives to align technology initiatives with business goals
  • Manage vendors to ensure delivery according to requirements
  • Champion modern engineering practices, automation and AI tools
  • Oversee adoption of engineering maturity metrics and continuous improvement
  • Lead hiring and talent development for both full‑time staff and contractors

What you’ll bring

  • 15+ years progressive software engineering experience
  • 7+ years senior leadership in engineering
  • Proven delivery of high‑performance, highly available micro‑services applications
  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms, preferably AWS
  • Experience with agile practices and digital transformation initiatives
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in GxP environments is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science or equivalent
